Lean Six Sigma Project for Nonprofit Organization
In this webinar, presented by Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Richard Petty, you will be shown an example of the benefits derived through the use of DMAIC within a Non-Profit Organization (People in Need Ministries) where the focus is not so much on metrics, as it is on people. Richard used this as his Pyzdek Institute Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Project.
People in Need Ministries (PIN) is a nonprofit organization providing more than a half dozen services to its metropolitan community including medical, food, housing assistance, violence prevention, amongst others.

Hi Blake,
The slides have been sent to your email.
Likewise, a copy of the slides would be appreciated.
This presentation is well worth watching.
Highlights include demonstrating that the adage “All work is a process” includes the critical work helping other people. It also demonstrates the clever use of simple, effective statistical methods (hypothesis tests, control charts) and simple, effective visualizations (SIPOC, L-Maps) used in a non-traditional way.
A very interesting application of the DMAIC system
